Gordon Peters hails from Moniaive and has lived in Latvia, Ukraine, Bangladesh and India and worked in Russia, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tanzania, as well as Edinburgh and Glasgow, while working as a consultant in health and social development since retiring as a social services director in 1990.
He is an active member of the Scottish Centre for Geopoetics, and now lives in London.
